Description

Zeracar is an emulsion formulated based on carnauba wax and a food-grade emulsifier, designed to deliver superior properties of gloss, hardness, and resistance. Carnauba wax, a natural raw material obtained from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera palm, native to Brazil, is widely recognized across multiple industries for its ability to produce high-performance finishes. Its melting point, reaching approximately 85 °C, provides excellent thermal stability, facilitating application and allowing it to maintain its protective properties even under demanding conditions.

The formulation of Zeracar has been developed to meet the requirements of the food industry and other sectors that require a safe and effective coating. Thanks to its food-grade status, it can be used as a raw material in coating and finishing processes for food products, as well as in applications where indirect contact with food-exposed surfaces is required. This characteristic makes it versatile and reliable in environments with high safety and hygiene standards.

In industrial and household applications, Zeracar is used for sealing, maintenance, and protection of various surfaces, both coated and uncoated. Common applications include coatings for confectionery products, baked goods, and cheese preserves. The protective layer formed by the emulsion acts as a barrier against moisture, dust, and contaminants, extending the material’s shelf life and preserving its aesthetic appearance.

One of the main benefits of Zeracar is its ability to improve scratch and abrasion resistance. This is due to the inherent hardness of carnauba wax, which forms a solid, smooth coating capable of withstanding wear caused by daily use and frequent cleaning. This resistance makes Zeracar an excellent choice for protecting objects exposed to environmental conditions and surfaces requiring a long-lasting flawless finish.

The characteristic gloss of carnauba wax is another key attribute of Zeracar. Once applied, the emulsion dries and can be easily polished, either with a soft cloth such as microfiber or fleece, or with mechanical tools. The result is a uniform, durable, and high-gloss finish that enhances the aesthetics of the material without leaving greasy residues or stains.

In addition to its physical performance, Zeracar offers operational advantages. Its emulsion format facilitates handling, storage, and application, reducing the time and effort required to achieve a professional finish. This makes it suitable for both large-scale industrial processes and manual applications in retail environments or household use.
